I haven't been writing anything lately as I was packing and preparing for my move to North Carolina. But after months (or years) of waiting for this day it is finally here.
It's a little after 4:00 in the morning and I have a couple of little chores to do here at the home I have shared with my sister for the past year, but then I'm on the road.
The U-Haul is loaded down and the snacks are packed.
Yikes! you are moving FURTHER away from Dodger Stadium now! We still have a deal tho, right? If the Dodgers go to the World Series...you're coming out for it! Who in the world are you going to root for in North Carolina? Baltimore? Florida? Atlanta? Good luck my friend!
I hope the Southern routes are warmer than the rest of the country... don't forget the St. Christopher medal to hang from your rear view mirror... don't forget to play golf... let me know your email address... Bon Voyage!!!
