Did you know that the person who takes the head shots used on the Saturday Night Live is Mary Ellen Matthews. Mary has been responsible for the photos each weekend since 1999.
In January, only a few days after arriving at my new home in North Carolina, and joining the True North Church family, Jon McClarnon (the senior pastor) and I will fly out to Kenya in order to see how best we marriage the ministry in North Carolina with what is taking place there in Kenya. The plan will include regularly leading teams to share in God's work there.
I'm pretty excited about these opportunities.
